Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of Mary Storey with the following comment:

My mother was a Storey and her father, my grandfather was William Storey from the farmers at Ledsham and Aberford . I have been working on my family tree and the image would help with my understanding. So far I have traced the family back to a John Storey who was born around 1776 in Ledsham. One of my cousin's Allen Storey visited the church at Ledsham last year and as a result of talking to the rector's wife (apologies if I have the wrong person) he and I went to the Archives at York University to do our research and we were very grateful for the information this kind lady gave us. As I now do not live locally it is not always so easy to visit. I am looking to see what other information I am able to glean from the monument. I hope you are able to help. Best Wishes Helen Smith
